Rumble Strip Truck

Hydrodiagnostics as worked over the past few years with a company that provides road milling services.  Along with road milling, they have a dedicated truck to cut rumble strips along the edges of highways.  The truck includes a hydrostatic system that drives one of two small cutter drums, similar to those used by the road planing machines to grind off the old pavement before resurfacing a highway, on either side of the truck to cut the rumble strips.  They had experienced repeated failures with the previous hydrostatic system, so Hydrodiagnostics was asked to be involved.  A completely new hydrostatic system was designed and installed, and there have been few problems since the new components were installed.
